With PowerWave technology, the PLX series takes your music to a whole new level. Not only does it deliver bigger bass and cleaner highs, PowerWave also cuts wasted heat and boosts reliability. PowerWave is a switching power supply that provides ample current to the audio power circuitry by charging the supply rails 230,000 times a second through and ultra-low impedance circuit. So unlike other amps with conventional supplies, the audio signal is never starved prematurely and remains crisp and clean. It virtually eliminates hum and greatly reduces noise, providing a vast dynamic range that can handle any music without running out of headroom. /i/QSC/plxseries.jpg

/i/QSC/rmxstack.jpg RMX amplifiers deliver true studio-quality sound. A full complementary output circuit using the highest-grade linear output devices delivers ultra-low distortion (<0.05% THD) & a ruler-flat frequency response. SMT (Surface Mount Technology) triples small-signal component density, enabling us to pack up to 2400 watts of power in a chassis only 2 rack spaces & less than 16" deep. And unlike other designs, RMX output devices are direct-mounted to the heat sink for optimum thermal coupling & cooling.

"Some of the PowerLight Series amplifiers have been discontinued" But they have been replaced with the PowerLight 2 Series. Please consult with the QSC website for information or give us a call or e-mail we can help.

With PowerWave technology, PowerLight amplifiers take your sound to a whole new level. Not only does it give you tighter bass and clean transparent highs, PowerWave also cuts waste heat and boosts reliability. PowerWave is a revolutionary switching power supply that provides ample current to the audio power circuitry by charging the supply rails 230,000 times a second though an ultra-low impedance circuit. So unlike amplifiers that use conventional supplies, the audio signal is never starved prematurely and remains crisp and clean. PowerLight Series amplifiers also boast a set of useful features. Individually selectable clip limiters lower distortion and protect speakers, and a standby mode allows remote AC control.

/i/QSC/lineara.jpg The QSC ISIS WideLine is a full-range, wide-angle line array speaker system designed for ballrooms, theaters, nightclubs, concert halls, and houses of worship. The WideLine features an open, natural sound and an exceptional 140-degree horizontal dispersion pattern—the widest of any line array system currently available. As with all ISIS products, the emphasis is on rapid set-up, accurate audio performance, and reduced labor requirements. Incorporating a selectable 3-way, bi-amp or tri-amp design, the WideLine’s internal mid-range frequency shading can be switched to either of the two woofers. Both drivers handle the low frequencies, but only one driver handles the mids, creating vastly smoother pattern control at the mid-high crossover. The selectable frequency-shading circuit enables the operator to redirect mid-bass build up without touching the EQ, for improved intelligibility in an otherwise problematic frequency range. The switch allows the sound engineer to orient the enclosure’s low frequency pattern for use as either house left or right, without the need to flip boxes. The extreme wide coverage pattern reduces the need for front fills, outfills or center fills.

The ISIS 102M, 102W, 122M, and 152M are compact, portable, multipurpose loudspeakers that extend QSC’s commitment to the corporate industrial and special events market. These new loudspeakers offer greater versatility, better value, and increased performance to an already exceptional product line.
These new ISIS loudspeakers are full range, two-way models featuring selectable active (bi-amp) or passive crossover operation. With their advanced cored composite construction, these enclosures feature superior strength and reduced weight—all of which translates to more focused sound (as a result of increased wall rigidity), safer rigging, and lower transportation and handling costs. As an added benefit, the composite enclosures and stainless steel hardware provide excellent weather resistance for outdoor applications. They also provide the ideal mid/high complement to the ISIS 215PCM subwoofer. In addition, these enclosures are available in a more cost effective non-weatherized wood version.
QSC’s ISIS multipurpose loudspeakers are constructed from the finest components. To produce maximum output and work efficiently in any application, all models feature a 1.4" exit, 3" titanium diaphragm compression driver. The “M” models employ a spherical (60°) HF waveguide for even dispersion regardless of orientation and a high-power neodymium woofer for reduced weight, while the “W” model offers an exceptionally wide coverage pattern (150° x 50°) via a rotatable waveguide.

/i/QSC/isissubj.jpg The 215PCM is a self-contained active subwoofer system with dual 15-inch drivers. It provides power amplification not only for itself, but also two channels for driving stereo full-range or mono bi-amp "top box" speakers as well. Thus, it serves as a core module for portable live sound reinforcement systems and is ideal for corporate/industrial events. The 215PCM can supply extreme SPL within the recommended bandpass of 35-150 Hz (-3 dB). The 215SB is a passive subwoofer system with no backpack electronics. The 215PSB is a powered subwoofer, but without the "top-box" electronics.
The power and processing electronics of the 215PCM are contained in a backpack mounted on the rear of the subwoofer enclosure. Powering the 215PCM and 215PSB is an integral 3000-watt amplifier (equivalent to a bridged-mono PL 230) for the subwoofer itself. For the 215PCM, the backpack also contains a two-channel amplifier equivalent to a PL 236 (725 W @ 8 ohms; 1100 W @ 4 ohms; 1850 W @ 2 ohms) for the top boxes.
The subwoofer amp and the top-box amp each have the processing equivalent of a DSP-3. Both processing units have eight user-configurable and -selectable presets (using a personal computer and QSC’s Signal Manager software).
